Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
Apus Commerce is a product of APUS ("we", "us"). This Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal information when you use the Apus Commerce app, website and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information we collect
• Information you provide: name, phone number, email, store/business name, payment details and content you enter into the Service. • Operational data: products, orders, inventory, customers and transactions you create while using the Service. • Technical data: device type, operating system, IP address, device identifiers, usage and crash logs. • Device permissions (only with your consent): camera for barcode scanning, printer/Bluetooth for receipts, storage for data export, push notifications.
3. How we use information
We use information to: provide and operate the Service; process transactions and payments; provide customer support; ensure security and prevent fraud; improve and develop features; send service notices and (with your consent) marketing communications; and comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal basis
We process data based on: performance of our contract to provide the Service; your consent; our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service; and compliance with applicable law.
5. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with: service providers that support our operations (cloud infrastructure, payment gateways, email/SMS) under confidentiality agreements; authorities where legally required; and a successor entity in the event of a merger or restructuring.
6. Storage & retention
We retain data for as long as you use the Service and as needed to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. For On-premise deployments, data is stored on infrastructure controlled by your business.
7. Data security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including encryption in transit, access controls and regular backups. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may: access, correct, update or request deletion of your personal data; withdraw consent; object to or restrict certain processing; and request a copy of your data. To exercise these rights, contact dpo@apuscorp.com.
9. Account & data deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting dpo@apuscorp.com or via in-app functionality. Some data may be retained for legally required periods (e.g. transaction records, invoices).
10. Children’s data
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Data transfers
Data may be processed on servers located in Vietnam or other regions operated by our infrastructure providers. Where data is transferred across borders, we apply appropriate safeguards as required by law.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
